Born and Bred in Scotland on a diet of crispy pancakes, potato waffles and arctic roll, Claire first discovered film and the SLR camera around the age of 16.
Amazingly for her teenage brain it held her attention long enough for her to become obsessed by it.
As this new obsession took hold she wanted to become a better photographer so went to study at college then later went on to Art School where she gained a BA(Hons) in Photography.
She has won the Marks and Spencer Scottish
Shortbread tin competition in 2008 and 2009 where her photographs "The Bothy" and "Highland Cow" were used on the tin packaging. She was also awarded a Merit in the Fujifilm student of the year awards.
She doesn't feel a need to confine herself to one style of photography as she feels this is like having chips for tea every night.
Now working as a freelance photographer she is available for any photographic work and can offer a service using digital or analogue using 35mm, 120mm or 5x4in film.
Almost all photographs on this site are available for sale. All are limited in number and can be Archival Digital, Silver Gelatin or C-Type prints (depending on the image).
